How we use it
To communicate about your project, provide the services you've asked for, maintain your account, prevent fraud, improve our products, and analyse usage so the experience keeps improving.
Legal basis
Processing relies on contractual necessity, our legitimate business interests, or your explicit consent. Users in the EEA may withdraw consent at any time.
Your choices
You can opt out of non-essential communications and disable cookies through your browser, though some site features may stop working as a result.
Data sharing
We share information only with employees, independent vendors, and third-party service providers on a need-to-know basis. We do not sell any personal information.
Your rights (EEA residents)
- •Right of access to your personal data
- •Right to rectify inaccurate information
- •Right to erasure in certain circumstances
- •Right to restrict processing
- •Right to object to certain uses
- •Right to lodge complaints with your supervisory authority
Data retention
Personal information is retained as long as required for the stated purposes, or as legally required — whichever is longer.
Data we process on your behalf.
Service data ownership
You retain ownership of any data entrusted to IndiaNIC — including customer and employee information shared with us during project development. Yours stays yours.
Data processing
We process service data only according to your instructions during the service delivery phases. No secondary use, no repurposing for analytics, no training of external models.
Data sharing
Access is granted to IndiaNIC employees and contractors involved in service delivery, and to third-party integrations you have explicitly enabled — nothing else.
Data retention
Data remains in your account while you use our services. After contract termination or project completion, data is retained for backup purposes in a secured environment until you request deletion.
Data subject requests
EEA residents who believe their data is processed by IndiaNIC may contact customer support to exercise access, rectification, erasure, or portability rights. Email privacy@indianic.com.
Security, transfers, and updates.
Children's information
Our services are not directed to individuals under 16. If we discover we've collected personal information from a child under 16, we delete it.
Security
We have taken steps to implement appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to prevent unauthorised access. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest; access follows least-privilege principles and is audited.
International data transfers
By using our services you consent to processing, transfer, and storage of data within the USA, EEA, and other countries where IndiaNIC operates — subject to EU Model Contractual Clauses.
Do Not Track
IndiaNIC does not currently respond to DNT browser signals, pending the emergence of a universal standard for these requests.
External links and social widgets
Third-party sites maintain their own privacy policies — we are not responsible for them. Social media widgets (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) embedded on our pages collect data governed by their respective privacy policies.
Blogs and forums
Information shared publicly on any of our blogs or forums may be seen and contacted by unsolicited parties. Requests for removal should be submitted via the form on the site.
Legal disclosures
IndiaNIC may disclose information to comply with law, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, or protect user safety.
Business transfers
In the unlikely event of acquisition or merger, the acquiring entity will be legally bound to honour the commitments in this policy. You will receive notice by email or on-site announcement.
Notification of changes
Significant changes receive 30 days' advance notice by email. Minor clarifications may not be announced. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Compliance concerns
Concerns about adherence to this policy can be submitted through our GDPR form or by emailing privacy@indianic.com.
Jurisdiction and venue.
These terms, and any related agreements, are governed by the laws of Gujarat, India — without regard to choice-of-law principles. Any legal action arising out of or relating to the services must be brought in courts of competent jurisdiction located in Ahmedabad, India.
Cancellations, terminations, and delivery.
General principles
Services cannot be refunded like tangible products — they are consumed immediately upon delivery. All refund scenarios below reflect that reality.
Milestone-based work
Projects operate under a milestone framework. Completed and accepted milestones are non-refundable.
Project termination
On mutual termination, clients retain control of all work completed and receive refunds for amounts paid for future, unexecuted development.
48-hour exception
If within 48 hours of project initiation you decide another provider is a better fit, we respect that — and offer a full refund.
Special offers
Services offered on special occasions (promotional bundles, seasonal discounts) cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Time & Material and Dedicated Developer services
T&M-based and Dedicated Developer engagements are non-refundable.
Cancellation process
All cancellation requests must be submitted to the Project Management Office (PMO). Minimum processing time is two weeks.
Cancellation terms
- •All cancellations are based on the service level agreement in force
- •Projects already in beta delivery cannot be cancelled
- •Payment is required for efforts invested through the cancellation date
- •Source code and materials are withheld if outstanding payment is unsettled
Delivery policy
Deliverables are provided as electronic files via collaboration tools or email. We re-deliver files for up to 30 days from the original delivery date; after 30 days, IndiaNIC assumes no responsibility for re-delivery.
