— 01 · METHODOLOGY

Interrogate the brief before the build.

A week-long discovery workshop that stress-tests your idea, converts a fuzzy brief into a measurable scope, validates core UX flows, and produces a build estimate your CFO will approve.

— 02 · WHY DISCOVERY MATTERS

Most projects fail in the blind spots.

Between brief and build, assumptions slip. Requirements shift. Scope explodes. A structured discovery workshop eliminates those gaps by forcing alignment before a line of code ships. See the full methodology to understand how discovery feeds into execution.

01 · BENEFIT

Clear roadmap before code

A signed-off PRD and wireframes eliminate the 'what are we building?' churn that kills projects.

02 · BENEFIT

Accurate estimates, predictable costs

Estimates from a real PRD carry 3–4× less variance than off-the-cuff quotes. Budget surprises shrink.

03 · BENEFIT

Compressed market time

By stress-testing assumptions upfront, you avoid feature work that users don't need. Ship faster, iterate smarter.

04 · BENEFIT

AI-amplified insights

Market research, competitive analysis, and user journey mapping that used to take weeks now closes in days.

05 · BENEFIT

Design debt eliminated

Interactive prototypes catch UX issues before engineering. No rework during build; design is validated and locked.

06 · BENEFIT

Team alignment & ownership

Every stakeholder sees the same prototype and agrees on scope. Surprises during build plummet.

— 03 · THE DISCOVERY PROCESS

Five concurrent workstreams.

Discovery isn't a single meeting — it's five parallel research and design tracks that converge into one coherent brief.

01

Stakeholder Interviews

Meet key decision-makers, product owners, and end users. Understand business goals, user pain points, and success metrics before designing solutions.

02

Competitive & Market Audit

Analyze 5–10 direct competitors and adjacent products. Identify feature gaps, design patterns, and market positioning opportunities.

03

Live Whiteboard Sessions

Rapid sketching and flow mapping with your team. Convert conversations into visual blueprints — faster and more collaborative than documents.

04

AI-Assisted Research

Market data synthesis, user journey mapping, and feature extraction — AI copilots compress weeks of research into days.

05

Figma Prototyping

Interactive wireframes and click-through prototypes. Validate core workflows and user interactions before engineering starts.

— 04 · WHAT YOU GET

Six artifacts, one signed brief.

At the end of discovery, you own a complete PRD with wireframes, architecture, estimates, and risk log — everything a builder needs to stay on scope and timeline.

Product Requirements Document (PRD)

Clear scope, user stories, acceptance criteria

UI/UX Wireframes & Prototype

Interactive Figma prototype for all major flows

Technical Architecture Blueprint

System design, API surface, tech stack rationale

Risk & Assumption Log

Known blockers, dependencies, unknowns

Effort & Cost Estimate

Detailed breakdown by feature, team size, timeline

Success Metrics (OKRs)

Business goals, KPIs, measurement plan

— 05 · PROBLEMS SOLVED

From chaos to clarity.

Three endemic project failures that discovery eliminates.

01 · PROBLEM
Fuzzy briefs → clear scope
SOLUTION

A week of facilitated workshops converts vague ideas into a measurable scope with exit criteria.

02 · PROBLEM
Surprise mid-project pivots
SOLUTION

Validated wireframes and stakeholder sign-off happen before engineering. Changes are intentional, not reactive.

03 · PROBLEM
Scope creep & budget overruns
SOLUTION

Effort estimates come from a detailed PRD and proven estimation playbook — not guesswork. Contingencies are explicit.

— 06 · HOW WE WORK

It's about designing together.

Discovery is a collaboration. Your team brings domain knowledge; we bring methodology, facilitation, and design expertise. Daily sessions, real-time synthesis, and interactive prototypes keep everyone aligned.

🎯

Clear Goals

Entry: a problem statement. Exit: a measurable scope with acceptance criteria.

🤝

Collaborative Design

We sketch with your team, not in a vacuum. Every prototype is validated before it's finalized.

📊

Data-Driven Decisions

Market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback inform every design choice.

— 07 · DISCOVERY FAQ

Questions before you workshop.

01How long does discovery actually take?
Typically 1–2 weeks of dedicated workshops and synthesis. Most of that time is your team's — we run daily sessions, capture requirements, and synthesize findings in parallel.
02Do we need all stakeholders present for every session?
No. We interview key stakeholders separately, then bring the wider group in for design validation and prototype feedback. Async contributions reduce time commitment.
03What if we don't have a clear idea yet?
That's the point. Discovery is designed for exactly that state. We start with a problem and industry context; the workshop defines the product. Most customers benefit most when they're least ready.
04Can we skip discovery and just start building?
Technically, yes. But projects without discovery are 3–4× more likely to miss scope, budget, or timeline. The insurance cost of discovery is always lower than the cost of rework.
05Do we own the discovery artifacts?
Yes. PRD, wireframes, architecture diagrams, and all research become your IP. You can use them to hire other teams or refine internally.
06What happens after discovery?
You get a build proposal with accurate estimates and a phased roadmap. Most teams move directly to a dedicated-team engagement; some run a fixed-scope MVP first.
— 08 · SCHEDULE YOUR WORKSHOP

Clear scope, clear path, clear estimates.
